via French by Design
As other bloggers aound the world I also will be participating in the Bloggers Day of Silence this coming Friday organized, along with a fundraiser, by Ever After and Utterly Engaged blogs. So there will be no post from me on Friday, March 18.
Get involved and donate, and spread the good word out there. For Japan, with love...

This is what they say about
Bloggers Day of Silence:
Anyone that has a blog can help out with this one.
The aim is just raise awareness and respect and acknowledge the devastation going on in Japan.
The guidelines are simple.
1. This coming Friday, March 18th, no posts at all on your blog.
2. Please post a blog post about what you will be doing this Friday whenever possible in hopes to spread the word and whoever else would like to join in.

family
Well, life goes on... Even though my thoughts are still with my friends in Japan and my home country as a child.
Today is my husbands birthday so we will just relax at home and eat cake and have a cosy family-sunday.

HELP JAPAN
Japan was devastated by an 8.9 earthquake and tsunami yesterday, causing widespread damage. They need our help. Donate to the charitable organization of your choice for relief efforts. Please reblog this message.
Available for preorder now is the Salvation Army Japan Relief t-shirt designed by the mighty Hydro74, seen above. An excellent shirt for an excellent cause. Click here to order yours.
I found this via French by design and Greg Melander.

DIY lamp
The working lights from Clas Ohlson are popular these days. I just discovered the blog likainen parketti. I love her idea for this DIY-lamp. Go here to see how to do it.
