bloggers day of silence

As other bloggers aound the world I also will be participating in the Bloggers Day of Silence this coming Friday organized, along with a fundraiser, by  Ever After and Utterly Engaged blogs. So there will be no post from me on Friday, March 18.
Get involved and donate, and spread the good word out there.
For Japan, with love...
03.18.11

This is what they say about
Bloggers Day of Silence:
Anyone that has a blog can help out with this one.
The aim is just raise awareness and respect and acknowledge the devastation going on in Japan.

The guidelines are simple.
1.  This coming Friday, March 18th, no posts at all on your blog.
2.  Please post a blog post about what you will be doing this Friday whenever possible in hopes to spread the word and whoever else would like to join in.
You all can check out what I did for mine here or Utterly Engaged's here and do it your way if you'd like.
I'll be posting a reminder post on Thursday evening on my blog too.
3. Tweet and Re-Tweet the shiznit out of the link to http://www.forjapanwithlove.com please.
4. Encourage your readers to contribute to donate shelter to Japan.
Whatever anyone can contribute will be appreciated.
Every little helps.

Feel free to ask other bloggers you like to join in on this.  Whatever impact we can make will be so awesome.

There are so many inspiring Finish blogs at the moment...check out these blogs wich are one my favorites at the moment:

Skye Hohmann

Skye Hohmann, an established photographer and writer based in Oxford, UK, is donating some photo prints to the relief effort. All proceeds of any sales will go to the Canadian Red Cross working in the area.
Please have a look at the superb photos of Japan and consider contributing to this great cause.

Also go to La maison d`Anna G for other similar links were you can by buy prints and photos of which all profits go to a help organisation, most often the Red Cross. Go to her blog for more info.

family

Well, life goes on... Even though my thoughts are still with my friends in Japan and my home country as a child.
Today is my husbands birthday so we will just relax at home and eat cake and have a cosy family-sunday.
Have a wonderful sunday!

Help Japan

HELP JAPAN

Japan was devastated by an 8.9 earthquake and tsunami yesterday, causing widespread damage. They need our help. Donate to the charitable organization of your choice for relief efforts. Please reblog this message.

Available for preorder now is the Salvation Army Japan Relief t-shirt designed by the mighty Hydro74, seen above. An excellent shirt for an excellent cause. Click here to order yours.

I found this via French by design and Greg Melander.

Japan

My heart and thoughts goes to Japan today and everyone who's affected my the earthquake and tsunami.
This is the book I'm reading at the moment. Haruki Murakami "What I talk about when I talk about running". He's my favorite author.  This book actually makes me (!) want to start running when the snow melts:) Have a peaceful weekend.

The working lights from Clas Ohlson are popular these days. I just discovered the blog likainen parketti. I love her idea for this DIY-lamp. Go here to see how to do it.
