green

Photos: John Master's, Burt's Bee, Weleda, Origins, L' Occitane
Over the past year I've tried to use greener products. Products that are more natural and better for the skin and the environment at the same time. I've written about my "go green process" earlier here, here and here. I got great tips from you readers and this is were I am at the moment. These are the greener products that I really like at the moment:

Haircare products from John Masters.
Body lotion from Burt's Bee
Skin food from Weleda  ( I use this as a night cream, since I have quite dry skin)
Skincare from Origins
Hand cream and shower oil from L' occitane

I also use almond oil and jojoba oil on dry areas on my face or body I also use Orofluido hair elixir. (mixture of organic oils for hair)

Thank you for your tips about green products!!:)

PS! I'm not sponsored by any of these products.

rainy

A grey and rainy saturday morning.
I have been changing my skin care routine the last months. I've changed to greener products and I'm very pleased with the results so far. You can read about it here and here. Origins Modern Friction is a favorite. And I've tried jojoba oil for my skin and I like it! I know many use this instead of moisturizer, but I use it as a addition to my moisturizer. I have quite dry skin so I feel I need some more moisture. But the skin feels so smooth and nice when I use it. I've read that it is good for both oily, acne and dry skin and for psoriasis as well. I also use it on my daughter when she has red dry skin on her cheeks. It will be perfect for cold winter weather in Norway . I also read that you should be careful if you have nut allergies. Anyone who has some good or bad experience with jojoba oil?

green

I'm trying out some green brands for my skin. I especially like Aubrey Organics Sea Buckthorn serum, moisturizing mask and Lumessence eye creme. And other brands like Dr. Hauschka and Burt's Bees are also good. Nailpolish and remover (non-toxic) from Priti Nyc are great. They have many colors to choose from.

Aubrey Organics have their own site, but you can also order from iherb or ebay. I found out that the products I ordred was cheaper on iherb at the time. If you choose to order from iherb for the first time you can use my code: NEH819 and you will get 5$ off  on your order:) They also have many other nice stuff:)

take care

I'm not feeling good today. I'm at home drinking tea and taking care of my self. It helps to pamper myself..:) By the way, earlier I wrote about wanting to use more natural products for my skin. This Moisturizing Mask from Aubrey is great! I'm going to try more of their natural products. And the best of all is much cheaper than the brands I used to buy. (The nailpolish is not so natural yet, but I'm getting there...) Nothing is better than buying things that are better for my skin, the environment and my wallet as well:)  Have a wonderful weekend!

favorite products

Ok, so this is a really girly post:) I usually don't blog about cosmetics, so this is really an exception. I like make up and other cosmetics and I like to try new products, but these products have been my favorites for awhile now.  I'm the makeup-girl among my friends and they often ask me what I use so here it goes:) (I'm NOT sponsored by anyone by the way:)
-Hairproducts Redken shampo and conditioner.
-Hypnotic Poison  eau de toilette by Dior. My favorite scent for many years. It's definitely me.
-Bodywash, body lotion and lip balm by Burt's Bee
-Ozzy is using Burt's Bees shampo and conditioner.
-Orofluido elixir oil for my frizzy hair. Love this!
-Dermalogica skin care system. Daily microfoliant is my favorite product.
-i.d bare minerals Foundation and Mineral veil. The best!
-Nylon body towel from Muji. Perfect for scrubbing and exfoliating the whole body. And it last forever.
-Nailpolish from Chanel. Always the coolest colors. But I also have many cheaper ones.
-L'occitane Almond shower oil and shea butter hand cream. The shower oil is perfect for shaving as well.
-Bourjois eyeshadow. The best eyeshadows! Marron Glace is my favorite color. Timeless and classic brown color I've used since the 90s. Too bad they don't sell them in Norway.
-Davines alchemic copper conditioner. Perfect for keeping my haircolor fresh and shiny.
-Skinflash by Dior. Perfect for dark circles under the eye.
-Mac blush in Peaches and Eye kohl in my favorite color Teddy.

I have been wanting to switch to more natural products. I've been thinking about Origins for my skin. Anyone who has been using their products? I have tried some of L`occitane and  Burt Bees products, but not convinced when it comes to faceproducts:) If any of you have any other tips especially about natural products, share with me!:) I want to use products that`s good for me and the environment:)
