jewlery

There's a lot of metallic and geometric shaped jewlery this season. Here's some inexpensive ones: Necklace from Curious creatures, rings from Lindex, rings from hm, ring, origami necklace and ring from Monki.

Since I've decided to have a no-shopping month this month I'm only looking:) (You can read more about it here.) But I'm allowed to dream aren't I ? :) As you see I haven't shifted focus yet, but I'm getting there...I hope...

Lazy days with reading, spending time outside and today we've bought food for the next days...love easter holiday:)

banana bread

Finally we have some time off. It's easter holiday. It's time to relax and enjoy each other and good food:)  I made some banana bread which Ozzy loves. Here's the recipe:

• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 2 eggs , beaten
• 4 bananas (soft ripen ones are the best) , finely crushed
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla  
• 1-2 teaspoons cinnamon 

Cream together butter and sugar.

Add eggs and crushed bananas.

Combine well.

Sift together flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Add vanilla and cinnamon.

 Pour into greased and floured loaf pan.

Bake at 175 celsius for 50-60 minutes.

Keeps well, refrigerated.

Very simple and good:)

not like everyone else

Yep, I'm pretty sure not everyone else has the same easter eggs as our family :D This is what happens when daddy is a baitmaker:) The eggs has been painted with airbrush. Happy easter!:)

Saturday breakfast. Cereal, yoghurt, bananas, strawberrys and some honey. And my favorite tea of course. Yum!:)

One more thing: Tonight at 20.30 it's Earth Hour. Remember to turn of the light for one hour. Just a small thing you can do to help save our planet. If you want to know more go here.

I've not been feeling well the last days....stomach virus or something... But I'm feeling a little bit better today. I'm looking forward to relax and spend time with family. Have a great weekend everyone!

I love sunday breakfast. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. The sun has been shining the whole weekend here in Oslo. Thank you for all your sweet comments on my previous post. I'm feeling better, but not great yet. But the lovely sunny weather is keeping my mood up:) I love spring!
