converse + marimekko

I am a Converse All Star fan and offcourse I love Marimekko too so this must be a winner.

Converse's classic sneakers are outfitted in the textile patterns of finland's marimekko
in the collaborative 'converse ♥ marimekko' collection.
Patterns featured on the shoes include 'tarha' and 'pikkusuomu', designed by annika rimala in the 1960s,
and 'kirppu', designed in 1980 by maija isola and her daughter kristina.
The women-specific line will be sold globally beginning in february.

One more reason to look forward to the spring:)

mini makeover

We have changed the kitchen step by step since we moved in here 4 years ago. We cannot afford to change the whole kitchen,but we have painted and changed the fronts on the kitchen units. There are still more things that I want to change, but I like to do small changes that makes a difference without spending too much time and money on it:) I did a mini "makeover" in my kitchen this weekend. I painted the old tiles white. I think it looks much better.:)

This vintage beauty came to me all the way from Canada in the mail:) I got it from the lovely Hindsvik shop where they sell many beautiful vintage and antique treasures. They also have a lovely blog. This teapot is perfect for my morning tea:)
